ABOUT THE THERAPIST
Evangelynn Chee, MSW RSW
Hello! My name is Evangelynn (ee-van-juh-leen)!
I am a Registered Social Worker and I offer psychotherapy for teens and adults in Mississauga and virtually across Ontario.
I completed a Master of Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University, a Honours Bachelor of Social Work at Lakehead University, and a BA in Health and Human Services at Tyndale University.
I have been in the social work field for 9+ years, focusing on helping people process trauma, work through addictions, repair relationships, explore the root causes of struggles, manage anxiety, build self-esteem, and find purpose.
I recognize that reaching out for help isn't easy. But my goal is to create open, real, and compassionate spaces for people to come as they are. We can figure out the rest together.
I believe therapy should feel like a real, human conversation—grounded, respectful, genuine, and honest. I believe in showing up as a therapist in a way that's warm, straightforward, and collaborative. I don’t pretend to have all the answers. Instead, I work with you to explore what’s really going on, offering insights and tools in a way that hopefully feels natural and doable.
Expect to be real. Expect to cry. Expect to laugh. Expect to discover more about yourself. Expect to be challenged - mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
My desire is that you will experience transformation beyond therapy. My desire is that you will come to find meaning, purpose, and freedom in your life.
My hope for you is that you will come to realize that there is a reason to remain EVER HOPEFUL.

I understand the financial aspect of seeking support, and I will try my best to accommodate your needs.
As a Registered Social Worker, my services are covered by most insurance providers.
I accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, as well as Visa Debit & Debit Mastercard.
I also offer some sliding scale slots, which means the fee is reduced based on your income.
